Scene: 6:15 am this morning in my bedroom.
I have mostly dozed off after Isaac's last feeding when I hear my daughter hit the ground running like she does every morning. She comes straight to my side of the bed. I whisper "Mornin' sweetheart."
I hear back, in my little girl's whispering voice "Mornin' fweetheart mama."
